Project Overview
One of the goals of the CID is to provide pedestrian and vehicular lighting along the major corridors throughout the district. The Big Shanty Lighting project is another step to achieving this overall safety goal. The project will install pedestrian scale and vehicular scale lighting fixtures along Big Shanty Road between Barrett Lakes Boulevard and George Busbee Parkway. The lights are decorative and follow the design guidelines established for the district. The lighting design was completed by Cobb EMC with the assistance of ACE Consulting.
