The Town Center CID’s successful launch of it’s bike share program partnering with Zagster in November of 2015 is a state precedent—the first CID-sponsored bike share program in Georgia.
The goal of this project is to provide a safe, fun and affordable transportation alternative in the Town Center area and encourage the community to stay healthy. With this program, students, residents, visitors and employees in the district who are age 18 or older can rent a bike from docking stations simply by using a mobile phone and a valid credit card, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Don’t forget to bring your helmet!
There are currently 45 bikes and 6 convenient bike share stations located along the Noonday Creek Trail , a seven-mile multi-use path system in the Town Center community. Bike stations are located at the Bells Ferry Trailhead, Avonlea Creekside Apartments, Founders Park, Town Center Mall at Cobb, Aviation Park and Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.
